Turnip Fries

Here is a recipe for you french fry lovers - but a healthier version!

Ingredients: Turnip and spices

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Peel turnips and cut into strips to resemble shoe string potatoes.

Spray a cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil with of non-stick cooking spray. Lay the “fries” on the foil. Lightly mist with olive oil.

Season the “fries” with spices of your choice. French fry seasoning, garlic and onion powders, salt & pepper, chili powder- whatever you like!

Bake for about 20 minutes and turn. Bake another 10 minutes or so.

They are delicious! :)

Pork Tenderloin

Anyone have any good ideas for pork tenderloin on the program? I'm not much of a meat eater and need to try some new things but have never cooked pork tenderloin before.

Beef Strips with Musrooms and Oyster Sauce..
1lbs 5oz beef, cut in strips (600 g)
2 tbsp tamari sauce
1 tbsp cornstrach
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp garlic, minced
2 tsp fresh ginger, chopped
1/4 cup oyster mushrooms, minced
1/4 cup shiitake mushrooms, minced
1/2 cup white mushrooms, minced
4 Green onions cut in sections
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp ideal Protein maple syrup
freshly ground pepper, to taste

PREPARATION
mix beef strips with Tamari sauce and corn starch, let marinate in refrigerator for at least 45 min. In a large skillet, heat up 1 tbsp oil. Drain beef strips and sear in skillet. Add garlic and ginger, cook 2 to 3 min's remove beef from skillet and let stand. Saute mushrooms and green onions in 2 tbsp of oil. Cook for 2 min's over medium heat. Return beef and any accumulated juices to skillet, add oyster sauce and ideal protein maple syrup. adjust seasoning if needed...
